On top of the world this Mother's Day weekend

We are all mothers. But in different phases of life. Some are raising little ones, some are managing young adults in college, and some are grown and on their own. A mother's job description may change through our child's life, but we never retire from the Mother Title.

However, a vacation from the role is sometimes needed. We must take time to fill our tanks. This group chose to hike the Lake Superior trails last weekend. We shivered in the snow, basked in the sun, and sat in an Eagle's nest...(a little play on words.) We threw snowballs, climbed rocks, laughed and cried when losing the cribbage tie breaker game;) The beauty of nature and spirit of these souls filled me up. I am ready to face tomorrow.
